Successful People Don't Do It Alone

Ok, grab the red wig and crank up the karaoke machine!
You know the song. It's a classic, and I can here it now...

"Did you ever know that you're my hero?
And everything I would like to be.
I can fly higher than an eagle.
For you are the wind beneath my wings."

Alright. Let's take a deep breath and put the microphone down before we start waving candles from side to side and someone gets hurt.

Seriously though, when it comes to successful people, this could well be their theme song. Why? Because successful people don't do it alone. There are always others in their immediate circle of friends, family, and colleagues that are their supporters, challengers, and encouragers. If they didn't have these people in their lives there'd be no wind beneath any wings.

So, when it comes to your success, who are the people around you that lift you higher? Challenge you to go further? Inspire you to be stronger? Create a bubble a positive energy and fun?

Take some time to reflect on this. Perhaps there's only one or two you can think of. Who else would you pick to make it five or six? Why them? What's more is how can you spend more time with these people?

A lot of questions I know, but building strong positive relationships by identifying these people and having them as part of your "Success Team" is crucial when it comes to your own success.

Now, take five minutes and write down the five names of people that represent, or could represent, the wind beneath your wings.

Here's to your success!

Simon.
